Cajun artist, Enola Egge, grew up in Louisiana on the bayou. She worked as an elevator operator in an elegant hotel when she was 16 and walked home in the dark. Her father fished and her family lived on seafood and their kitchen garden. When Enola was 70 years old she started making oil paintings from her life memories. Enola's art work begins in emotion as all art should. In the words of Post Impressionist artist, Paul Cezanne, "A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art." Email Enola.
