Our home is located on two acres of wooded land on Whiskey Creek Road in Netarts, Oregon. We are 3 miles north of Cape Lookout State Park. Please note that our accomodations are not wheelchair accessible. We regret losing out on someone's company due to this. We have two separate bedrooms, each with private bath and queen size bed with luxury linens. Each room is $125 per night. There is a separate sitting area and dinning table for playing games or eating. You may invite our cat, Nebbie, to join you, or just enjoy her calm presence from afar. There is cable television in the sitting area along with books, games, wireless internet and movies available for use.

A scrumptious breakfast will be included with the room rental. Dinner specialties that are out of this world, and picnic baskets for your day trips can be provided at your request. Whenever possible, always local ingredients will be used and the meals are prepared by our own chef. Our grounds are quiet, with lots of humming birds, robins and black- caped chickadees. When the grass has been freshly mowed, the robins are at their happiest. Our home is about 1.5 hours from Portland. Itís a very nice drive with the occasional wild life viewing.

Enjoy all Netarts Bay has to offer in this great family entertaining home.

The house sits above Netarts Bay, with a view of the Bay and Cape Lookout spit from our upper deck. Easy access to Netarts Bay Boat Launch or the ocean beaches is just a short walk away. During your stay you can try out the famous clamming in Netarts Bay. This does require a shell fish license, approximately $6.50, and it can be purchased at Freddyís or Netarts RV Boat Launch just up the road. They also rent boats for day use for crabbing and supply all the gear. As the tide recedes and the mudflats grow mature Bald Eagles alight onto the flats near the waters edge along with Herons. During wet weather you can be a storm watcher and then a beach comber. Donít forget the Tillamook Creamery and the best ice cream cones this side of the bay.

Further south about 20 minutes is Pacific City and the Pelican Pub and Brewery Restaurant. It is perfect for ocean viewing and beach strolling. A few miles North of Pacific City and Cape Kiwanda is the Sand Lake Recreation Area. It covers 1076 acres of open sand dunes, surrounded by forests and offers a variety of recreational activities. Further up the road is Lincoln City - Oregon's Ideal Pacific Coast Destination for fun, nature, relaxation and excitement.
